Laura McNeill in her personal mission statement on her donation pages states:

Truthfully, it’s really simple, We ALL are nothing without hope

This quote is not only inspiring but also sums up Laura's determination to live a life of hope in her efforts to fight Cancer. A battle that is a personal one as well as much as it is also about raising community awareness.

Local woman Laura is living with Cancer. She is in her early 30's and was diagnosed in 2012.  At the moment she is undergoing both radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

Laura is undertaking The Weekend To End Women's Cancers. A 60km walk over two days in Perth in 2016 which raises money for the Harry Perkins Reseach Institute. The institute is at the forefront of Cancer Research and the walk is a great way for those who are facing Cancer as well as those who wish to support a loved one to join in a fantastic community event.

The team of 12 woman, including Laura are hoping to raise in total $25,000. If you would like to donate or find out more about The Weekend To End Women's Cancers head to the Team Facebook Page or Laura's donation page. The team are also looking for corporate sponsorship to help them with their fundraising activities.
