Police have cordoned off a park in Bunbury, Western Australia after a man believed to be in possession of explosives took at least one person hostage.
Police, ambulance and firefighters are at the scene near the corner of Koombana Drive, the main thoroughfare into the town, and Blair Street.
Officers in bulletproof vests are lying on the ground near the scene, where a large sign has been erected, understood to contain the man's demands.
The ABC understands the man may have explosives strapped to his body.
