The foyer of the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is playing host to the two iconic Fairbridge Festival works created by renowned West Australian artist Brendon Darby during his tenure as the festival's artist-in-residence in 2014 and 2015. The Peel region is where these works were created so we're delighted that MPAC is exhibiting them together for the first time but only until 20 August 2015.
Along with the large scale works is the limited-edition print of the 2014 work plus the opportunity to see videos that document the process of the two mixed-media paintings. Please note: all are for sale.
"The works look stunning in our foyer alongside the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery," explains MPAC General Manager, Guy Boyce.
