Elli Moody loves clay and pottery and her enthusiasm is infectious! The Pinch Pot Project's first pop-up workshop will be held on Saturday 29th of August at Community First on 6 Cumberland Street from 10am to 3pm. This will be the first of a series of free community workshops.
Everyone is welcome to attend - the workshop is for all ages and abilities.
"Making a pinch pot is very simple and something humans have been doing since the Stone Age" Elli states. Elli Moody is a local Mandurah based artist who is brining pinch pots and claywork to the people!
The project is funded by the City of Mandurah's Creative Mandurah Grant Scheme.
"I love clay and pottery and I really wanted to offer everyone the opportunity to try their hand at pottery."
The pinch pots that are made will form part of temporary installation artwork at next year's Stretch Festival.
So everyone get your clay on! If you would like to find out more about The Pinch Pot Project head to the Pinch Pot Project Facebook Page or contact Elli on 0410 699 658 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
